RATES

Usual survey rates vary from $17.00 - $20.00 per foot for a pre-purchase survey on most mid-sized and larger standard production fiberglass vessels. However, the cost may be more or less depending on the boat type, hull material, age, complexity of the systems and specific requirements for the survey. Limited inspections have a much lower minimum fee due to the limited scope of the inspection. There is a $300.00 minimum charge for pre-purchase surveys.  

If you require a cargo or container survey, I charge $75.00 per hour  with a minimum four hour charge. Detailed reports are provided with plenty of pictures. Travel charges are applied at the hourly rate.
