It is my desire to provide all of my clients with top-notch customer service. It is of utmost importance that I provide you with the best information possible that you will need in deciding to purchase a new or pre-owned boat, or accessing damage or causes of loss on an insurance claim. I return calls promptly, take time to answer your questions and will walk you through the survey process. My surveys are very comprehensive, unbiased, and take into consideration standards set forth by the American Boat & Yacht Counsel (ABYC), The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and United States Coast Guard safety and inspection guidelines and standards. My survey reports are easily readable but thorough and include pictures pertaining to findings and recommendations.
After the survey is completed, I will call you and go over my findings in detail and answer any questions. An electronic written report will be provided to you within 3-4 business days. If they can be available, I welcome my clients to be present during the survey.
As a member of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS), I am responsible for keeping current with industry trends and innovations. That includes obtaining continuing education credits each year. SAMS surveyors are required to abide by strict ethical codes.
Prior to my surveyor career, I spent 35 years in the insurance industry as a property and casualty claims adjuster. I have handled both primary and excess, assumed and ceded reinsurance claims. I am a graduate of Chapman's School of Seamanship Yacht & Small Craft course and their Damage and Claims course.
I enjoy surveying and look forward to assisting you with your boat purchase, insurance claim or renewal, cargo or vessel inspection.
